I know you want to do something quick, but you can also create your own backlinks by using splogs.

Sign up for freehosts like sensualwriter, thumblogger, and xxxvideoblog, and create as many backlinks as you'd like. Use sponsor RSS feeds to populate your blog with premade content, and use rss2anywhere to spin this content so you won't have as much of a risk of getting hit for duplicate content.
