Facebook & Porn Question
 

I have a couple of real quick questions for those who may have experience with this.

I have an adult site I would like to create a Facebook fan page for. I understand that Facebook does not allow for multiple accounts and they force you to create a page under your main account.

Questions:
1. I believe that you can use Facebook for porn so long as you don't post any graphic images on the page. Is this correct? Has anyone been shut down for merely linking a porn site?

2. Do I run the risk of losing my entire account, including personal account if I create the page under my personal account, or will they simply kill the page if it violates any TOS?

3. If you use Facebook for your adult site, how do you do it without risking your personal profile?

most houses (ip addresses) have more than one person accessing facebook, so i doubt its a problem to sign up separately for each one. its not like they're probably going to be checking what other accounts a ip address (or computer) has logged in from :2 cents:

At first i did but know i have a main account with say 3-8 pages

Yeah, just make a new account and start hosting fan pages on it. As long as you keep the photos clean, you should be fine.

first ..... Facebook won't allow you to link a porn site , your Facebook page will be shut down if you post porn pics but your personal account will be safe

We have tons of different accounts linking to porn sites and have never been shut down. We do not however post nudie pics on our FB pages. Bikinis shots and similar is our limit. Sexy not slutty is a good rule of thumb for FB.

I keep it to just sexy pics, no nudity and have no problem with FB, I set up a fanpage off my main 'fake' profile

Make sure to have more than one admin for one Facebook page. In that case if one of your account is close you don't lock yourself out of your Facebook page ;)

Create some fake accounts and ok.

I would not take the change even If you don't post explicit photos. Better create a separate account.

Dont do this.

I took over our company FB account a while back and they closed me down because they spotted I was using the same IP to access my personal and my business account. Still got the email somewhere that says you are only allowed one account per person

I had to restart everything again from a single account and now I just use that account to create pages eg http://www.facebook.com/tacamateurs
