Bullshit! With Rafa in charge? :1orglaugh

Ross 11-23-2012 10:12 AM

Lucky if they finish 4th and get a crack at the Champions League next year. Chelsea continue to sack their Managers but the real person they need to get out of their club is John Terry. The guy is a cancer in that team. Every bad thing that happens, revolves around this fuckstick!

Lykos 11-23-2012 10:12 AM

Nah no way... Rafa .... no...

Statistically, he's one of the best managers around. Yes, there is no way he won't win, unless someone shoots him :2 cents:

Yes, seems like Terry's time should be up, too much drama.

If one looks at what Benitez did with Liverpool and Valencia, he's one of the best managers in the world, so with the resources available to him at Chelsea, he will win the title :2 cents:

The media like Rafa as they can make stories about him, but his statistics speak for themselves :2 cents:

Rafa is a great manager, I would LOVE to see his half time team talk in that dressing room from 2005 Champions League final, whatever he said to those players to bring them back from 3-0 down must have been inspirational. However, Chelsea is a different animal than Liverpool, the expectations of a young owner with more money than he knows what to do with, makes it pretty tough. 3 bad games and all of a sudden he is thinking about replacing you. I like Rafa Benitez, he is always methodical in his manner and approach, he's clever and speaks well but dealing with Abramovich I think he will find it tough.

Yeah,Di Matteo will do it like last year!Oh wait ..

He won the Champions League, he will be off to manage Barca :winkwink:

I'm a Liverpool fan, and I think very highly of Rafa too. :thumbsup

What I found with Rafa is that he does best when under pressure e.g. when he needs his contract extending, people in the media doubting him...but once he's got his 5 year contract and won the trophies, he gets complacent and things go downhill. He was like this at both Liverpool and Valencia. At Valencia he won La Liga, then the next year they finished 4th, the next year they won it again. I'd expect Rafa to do extremely well in this short season at Chelsea, winning 1 or more major trophies. Once he's got his long term contract, he might not be able to keep it up, Abram might sack him after a bad 3 games. :2 cents:

I'm expecting Chelsea to finish on over 90 points this season

NaughtyRob 11-23-2012 12:10 PM

Go Gunners! Wish I could watch more matches.

scottybuzz 11-23-2012 12:14 PM

I see this as going to be a huge flop!!!

marcop 11-23-2012 12:16 PM

Why why why did they fire Roberto Di Matteo??? He was a good guy and a fine manager, and only had a run of 3 or 4 disappointing results, including a loss to ManU that had more to do with the refereeing than anything else. It's madness.

I've been a Chelsea fan since I was 9 years old, and I can't remember a year with so many highs and lows as this one.

There is 26 games left in the season with potentially 78 points to play for, Chelsea currently have 24 points. That means they have to win at least 22 of 26 games. It won't happen.

It's West Brom's title this season.
Well, at least in my dreams.
Boing Boing!

Fuck Chelsea!

That is all...

CamTraffic 11-23-2012 05:41 PM

Need to get raid of Torres first! Mofo cant score for shit this season. So sad cause Mata and Hazard are killing it. Chelsea needs a Suarez or Agueiro...

That being said Go gunners! Can't wait to see more of Giroud , Podolski and hopefully Henry in January :)

lagcam 11-23-2012 06:17 PM

It's not a bad bet. Chelsea will be competing.

Have never been a fan of Rafa as a person, but he has achieved success with a lot weaker squads before so it's a chance for him to come back from the wildnerness also and he will take it.

He may have got the job mainly because he was the last to get the best out of Torres, and he has 2 months to either get him back to his best, or up his value a little so he is easier to sell on but I wouldn't bet against him achieving success and staying around possibly with Guardiola (if as believed he is still first choice). Rafa has already stated that he has a good relationship with Guardiola, which was a strange comment about a potential replacement.

Di Matteo is and always will be a Chelsea legend, and all fans wish him well. He rode his luck a little last year, and this year it bit him back, but he will get a great job after this. His only "crime" was not blending last year's more defensive style with this year's more flamboyant style quick enough.

I'd just like to see Liverpool and Chelsea in the championship.

Bet you'll never guess where I'm from or why I support Man U.

You couldn't even tell me why I support Barca either.

Welshmorph 11-24-2012 07:54 AM

Another good win for the Baggies. Boing Boing!
