Are you making money with a free, ad based site? If so, I would love to hear from you.
Maybe you can give me some free pointers on how to do this?

I have a lot more content but I kind of stopped working on this because it does not seem to make any money.

Hey,

had a very quick look at your site. The current ads used are a little nasty with the once popped they are after a close box to get them gone each and every vid it appears has this one it. The site does not look to be that busy...

So get the traffic up first by taking some of the ads away so it is a nice site to use. then introduce nice adverts with high returns or paid spaces if you get your traffic high enough. nasty adverts on a nice site just drag it right down. put off the people using the site to keep
using it etc. that would be my only thought looking at it.

And good luck, AVS ? im guessing for your tube script ? I wrote a mod for this about 5 yrs ago that could make money but never launched it.

It enabled most videos to be free, some to be watched for 30 seconds and if they wanted the full video they could for a payment in tokents ( each token only being worth like 0.001 of a cent and vids being priced "good ones" at like 1 token - 2500 tokens. ) selling the tokens in bulk like $3 for --- 300000 tokens..... All standard pay per view stuff... but being a tube where clients could upload their own. then splitting the tokens with the uploader.

The only reason i did not launch this was simply, i would have to check they owned the content before letting them charge for it. But it was a nice clean system, witha pdf self billing & full stats for the vids. Something like that could be used rather than lots of external vids. I was thinking of targeting the amateur market to get individuals smashing their own content up....

lots more ideas but get your traffic up first then money will be a side effect.
