StickyGreen 11-29-2012 04:26 PM

CrocMint 11-29-2012 04:34 PM

What a waste of space between the ceiling and the stock on the floor.

Sly 11-29-2012 04:40 PM

And that's only one of dozens of warehouses.

seeandsee 11-29-2012 06:42 PM

BIGTYMER 11-29-2012 06:44 PM

My favorite online store. :)

L-Pink 11-29-2012 06:57 PM

The future of retail. I'm not impressed.

Exactly what I thought of when looking at the pics.. Before porn (10 yrs ago) I worked a factory job for 12yrs driving a fork lift. You could have a factory 33% to 50% of the size if you used fork lifts and rack systems like they have on outside walls..

I would hate to work there with all those Pallet Dollies :2 cents:

dillonaire 11-29-2012 07:36 PM

I wonder how many Costcos they can fit in there??

epitome 11-29-2012 07:51 PM

It really is amazing when you think about how much work it takes and how many times someone different touches something before it gets to you.

Never mind the long ship journeys many products take.

Hell the computer I'm typing this on has probably seen more of the world than me.

slapass 11-29-2012 08:26 PM

But think how much sense it makes versus a bunch of stores all over the place.

keysync 11-29-2012 08:28 PM

I saw a guy on tv the other day in one of those warehouses.
They said they were doing about 240 sales PER SECOND....

You mean the ones in malls paying taxes, employing people and having the merchandise right there for you to view?

buzzard 11-29-2012 09:57 PM

Looks Like The Morton Building Out On Our Farm. Only Hella Cleaner... Minus All The Racks And Products Of Course.
Now If They Filled It With Farm Equipment And Hog Confinements... :thumbsup

Yeah but usually overpriced as hell.
People first started choosing online over the shopping malls because of the price difference.

But yeah it is put many people out of a job. Most high streets here in the UK are dead now...

This is the future of retail. Why have stores all over the place when I buy everything online anyhow? At this point I go to the store and then go home and buy it online for less. Even with shipping I can still buy it less online.

Darkhorse 11-30-2012 08:54 PM

That's insane, but like mentioned it's the way of the future and more places will be doing it.
