The hardware itself is not too bad, the remote is actually pretty neat - The software however is terrible.

Its meant to be Android but it looks and behaves like no Android device I have ever seen.

Its buggy and crashes every time you try and do anything - Its supposed to run Andriod apps - Not a chance!!

I remember this. It was called WebTV. Then everybody realized that they still had a computer sitting over in the corner of the room...

I'll agree it's crashing frequently,but overall its not that bad. It's definitely better than Roku and i know logitech gave up on theirs.

It's shit in the uk, there's no content. So that plus the crashing, plus the fugly ui makes it a very bad choice here. Admittedly, it's better with the us content.

I got one last month and I like my Google TV.

The remote lights up in the dark, the mousepad on it is cool as is the one click search button and the picture in picture for internet and TV.

It's nice searching for something or checking email and having the TV in P&P. It's not perfect but better then anything else I've seen.

I don't like sony and apple products because they are not compatible with any other equipment and can't play other media formats...

Samsung, Philips shit - may be low end and cheap, but its much more functional :)

I got the Logitech version of Google TV and it's now officially a dust collector :P

I use a WD TV Live box and love it. Not great for netflix and youtube but I just plug my laptop in via hdmi for that. WD TV is good for anything you want to put onto a hardrive like tv series and stuff from dvd so you can just have them all in one place.

I had a lot of foreign region code dvds I couldn't play with blu ray so I got them on the HD now and just use it for that.

Netflix works ok but no keyboard (for search) as far as I know can be used with it.

Cheack dx.com if you want something that runs regular android and plays 1080p videos and is the size of a USB stick for under $75.

Worst GUI goes to samsung blue-ray player, every time i look at it I almost cry.

I have an Apple TV in 3 rooms in my house. I don't know what I'd do without the fucking thing.

Netflix. iTunes movies. The MLB package. The NBA package. Streaming movies directly from my laptop, desktop, iPad, iPhone. I haven't been able to run a cable wire into a particular room in the basement. So I use my AppleTV and a Slingbox to stream cable into that room.

There's nothing that thing thing can't fucking do. And it works. The same way every time.
