My approach has been a little different I guess.

I usually start with the last names of famous people with 'exotic' sounding or well known in a pop-culture sort of way names. (Halston, Perry, Hilton, Fawcett, Trump, etc.)

Rather than having them sound so much like fun, made up official porn star names, I like to try to subliminally connect them to other famous persona. I try to leave the interested parties wondering whether my 'porn stars' are somehow related to the famous people for which I have based their names off of.

Once I have my list of famous last names, then I will try to find a first name that 'flows' with the last name in some way, either poetically or phonetically.

Once I have this list of first and last names matched, then I will look at the model and 'see' which name fits best based on their face, nationality, accent, etc.
