what do you like the best?

I like V-bulletin. To be honest I haven't tried Vanilla or IPB for a couple years.

Vbulletin.

I like Xenforo, but between IPB and vB, I prefer IPB.

I think they all have their pros and cons. But I am not sure any BBS software company is more arrogant than Jelsoft / vBulletin. They are, in fact, amazingly arrogant in my personal experience. IPB isn't exactly the most cordial either, but I find their support infinitely superior to vB's and with less arrogance.

I like SMF myself.

Got 1 license of vbulletin and 1 of IPB.

I've used http://www.simplemachines.org/ and its not bad, free and works very well! :)

YAF 1.9.6.1 looks nice, easy to setup, yet to try

I have used MyBB for some projects in the past, I think it's pretty good.

We use VB right now.

I hate vBulletin. Bloated piece of shit without some of the most basic functions a forum should have.

MyBB and SMF got everything I need for free.
