I agree the parent is the first line of defense.

However if there was a standard age verification process in place we could guarantee that a high percentage of underage visitors are turned away. Unfortunately with the tubes displaying hardcore scenes non stop i doubt that will ever happen.

BIGTYMER 12-28-2012 01:31 PM

I redirect all of China.

I put the following in the header to help filtering software recognise my sites as adult:

Code:

<META name="Rating" CONTENT="mature">
<meta name="RATING" content="RTA-5042-1996-1400-1577-RTA">

Also, I use a warning page.

PR_Glen 12-28-2012 02:34 PM

on a slightly similar topic what do you guys use at home for child protection? I don't have kids but someone asked me recently and I'm drawing blanks other than Netnanny?

BIGTYMER 12-28-2012 02:43 PM

The real problem is predators on social networks. Kids aren't safe anywhere online.

pornmasta 12-28-2012 02:57 PM

Yeah, so don t let your kid online it seems

Webmaster Advertising 12-28-2012 04:36 PM

I don't use keywords that will attract them like 'Sesame Street' or 'Big Birds first anal DP fuck session'.

I think the main thing is computer access should be supervised, or at least keep the computer in an area of the home that people walk by often like the kitchen. I realize this is harder these days with kids having iPods, iPads etc, but really they shouldn't be allowed on the internet by themselves.

That seems a little drastic. I'd recommend keeping the computer in a open spot and monitoring their activity.

FlowerKid 12-29-2012 12:27 AM

The kids will adapt to see porn everywhere.
