Asked myself this a lot of times: How big is VOD in the Adult scene?

What amount of people prefers to pay just a few bucks to see a single (or a couple) of videos, instead of paying for the full subscription?

have two WL's with AEBN that are doing fine...

AEBN and Hotmovies(National A-1 Internet) are private companies. Don't know if there is a way to find out how much they make or how many assets they have.

I like VOD. I buy like 200 minutes for $20 and preview the movies I like. I think more should have an option to buy a physical copy of the video too.

Hmm, I Guess I'll offer VOD and a premium membership to access for all the videos then. Just wanted to be sure what most customers prefer, VOD or just purchasing a premium membership and access all videos.

Yea, I am just speaking for myself. I like VOD. I don't trust the premium monthly thing.

As a webmaster, my pages suck, and I have yet to make a sell. So I can't speak for others.

The only sponsor I have really used with VOD as a primary option is kink, and probably 1 out of 5 choose that option although it's hard to judge if it's the same people coming back or new customers buying 1 VOD.

Customers prefer streaming for free on the tubes, alas.

We are still doing very well with the pay-per-minute stuff. It´s not for everyone and you need the latest and hotest stuff on there to be able to get the customers you need on there. When you get the real porn "fans" they spend much more on there then on membership sites.

The ENTIRE economy is smaller now than say 6 years ago :winkwink:

Tubes don't have HD movies or newer releases like the VOD does. You are always going to have customers that pay for quality, same goes for Mainstream movies.

I do well with VOD (AEBN) as a producer and webmaster. Revenues are steady on my end.

I speak just for mobile. But the mobile revenue is still growing every month on VOD. But this is of course also, because the mobile market is growing very fast. So maybe the VOD is actually going down.
