"End of Watch". Best film I've seen in a long time.

Solid and engaging from beginning to end. Wish all films could be this good.

I was on my way to the theater one day to see it, and I got called back to work by a client.

Hits DVD Jan 22 so I can't wait to check it out.

there's another thread here about trailers and expectations. This trailer made me not want to see the movie, and I got tired of seeing it in front of every movie.

I wanted to see it because people said it was good, just like they're doing now in this thread.

xNetworx 01-11-2013 11:59 AM

Favorite film of 2012 :2 cents:

John-ACWM 01-12-2013 10:22 AM

Looking forward to it, thanks for the reminder.

seeandsee 01-12-2013 11:39 AM

imo Training Day was better

although I thought Michael Pena was great in his role, Jake G. not so much

the trailer looks decent

DBS.US 01-12-2013 02:38 PM

I didn't like it because the LAPD badges they used where low quality crap reproductions.
Every time they did a close up shot of the cops I see a cheep ass badge. If your going to make a LAPD cop movie how hard is it to have a quality badge?

crockett 01-12-2013 02:47 PM

It was a good movie and had a decent story line unlike most of the rehashed shit that comes out of Hollywood these days.
