Democrats urge Obama to bypass Congress
 

They believe the Constitution gives him authority to raise it unilaterally but ignore the fact he would be ignoring it by bypassing Congress. Makes sense if you're a Democrat I guess.

Article. I. Section 8 reads The Congress shall have Power To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

NOT

The President shall have Power To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

I urge him to bypass congress too. Lets speed up this disaster so it happens DURING his term. That way, it will be more difficult for the liberals to re-write history and claim Obama saved us and it was actually the next president who collapsed the economy and our way of life.

We can debate what the Constitution says and what it does not say until we are blue in the face. It says the Congress shall have the power, but it does not say the President does not have this same power.

Every time I come across the Constitution, it seems to be very vague to me.

It's only vague to you because it doesn't say what you want it to say.
