I meant to place the order at .0018 but I was in a hurry trying to get it placed before the price moved(I expected the open run-up and BLAM... it happened)... so I ended up paying .0028 :(

BUT it is a $400k promo... so I might be alright, anyway.. Cross your fingers for me!! This really sucks because to make it back to even I have to hit .00402251 :(

Also if any of you want to buy a few million shares to drive the price up, I would not be upset about that since I own shares :winkwink: and according to me this stock could go to $3 and I could have invented a bird which has no wings yet flies all of the time

You may be right; MrMaxwell may go down but by understanding just how pump-and-dump works, which he is learning (He has quite apparently done his homework!) money can be made from it and money is where you find it and he may make a ton. I made a bunch on a local stock when it was being manipulated and spammed, so I know it can be done!

Having a tiny account and being with sharebuilder makes it tough to make a profit but so long as I'm making decent picks that's what is important right now.

I didn't want to mess with a demo account because I wanted it to "feel real".

MBTrading is going to be a-lot better. I can trade a-lot cheaper and WITHOUT the .007 surcharge. Even then.. a trade needs to be a few hundred bucks in order to make it worth paying the commission in and commission out.

You can't be some big baller man in penny stocks.. You can't make fifty and hundred thousand dollar trades because if you end up being too much of the trading volume, you'll never make it out alive.

All I know about futures is that I know what pyramiding is because of some book I read years and years ago by some guy named Morton Schulman I think his name was.. Do they really still do most of the trading of futures in pits?

Somebody needs to set up a site selling half penny stocks to sucker in all those guys who lost their shirts on penny stock pump and dumps but want to try again for lower "risk" :)

I didn't even realize you could trade pink sheets with Sharebuilder, not the broker I'd use though for such transactions. COWI has actually had a nice run up, hopefully you got out with some profit. I've been out of trading penny stocks for years, lots of misery around a famous penny stock CMKX.

I don't know if you can trade otc pink through them but the qb and qx I've traded all worked fine.. unless you're just referring to all pennies as pinks?? A-lot of people do, right? I'm still learning.

Definitely extremely wrong for penny trading, sharebuilder is. Extremely so.

It hit .0065 just now.. I managed to get out at .0051 which is ridiculous because it never went below .0061 while my order was executing.... fkn good to get away from sharebuilder. They very obviously just sold my shares to another customer of theirs at a shit price.

Timing is everything- back down to .0028 now

Learning how pump and dumps promotions work and using that information to predict stocks temporarily going up in price makes perfect sense.

I fucked around with a penny stock a few years ago and spent quite a bit of time watching it. After some weeks I determined that there was a definite pattern to its movements, probably because it was being manipulated, which estimate turned out to be correct.

I found that it was regularly dropping from the preceeding day's high at around 9-9:30 am, CST and then peaking again at around 2-3 pm, CST on the same day. This lead me to buy a substantial amount of the stock and begin playing. I was buying in the morning and selling in the afernoon and was lucky because there were always buyers. I reinvested my profit in the stock and kept playing the game, making certain to never hold any of the stock overnight.

When I read that the company was considering a reverse split, I got out and stayed out and good job that I did because I did not want to hold the stock, I only wanted to play it.

I actually made a ton of money with this but then turned around and lost it all in a fucking real estate deal that went South on me.
