My cousin last year took custody of his wife's 4 nieces and nephews after her sister was killed by their father who offed himself and lit the house on fire.

I'm sure the kids would have rather returned home to see their mother shot, instead of walking in to find her stabbed 30+ times with her throat slit.

Well, duh.

And still, I would rather see some one who was shot vs. seeing someone who's head was almost removed from it's body. I would be will to bet most would agree.

That said, these kids have and will continue to have issues for quite some time. Especially the two who found the bodies.
