The intro to Enter Sandman is called "The Ecstacy of Gold." It was from the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." Metallica has been using it at the beginning of their shows for years.

I think you mean the intro to the Enter Sandman clip above, not the into to the song as it was recorded and released on the self named Metallica album.



Yes, they have been using the riff from the Sergio Leone movie for years, but it was The Unforgiven from the same album (and later The Unforgiven 2 and The Unforgiven 3) that laid the track down on an album. :winkwink:

What? I'm not even sure what you're saying at this point, so I'll just cover everything. The first 55 seconds of the live clip of Enter Sandman is "Ecstacy of Gold." From there, they go straight into the guitar riff that starts Enter Sandman, as recorded on the album. The "official video" clip of Enter Sandman starts with the guitar riff from the beginning of the song, again, as recorded on the album. The Unforgiven video, and the recording on the Black Album, start with the horn sound that also starts The Unforgiven II. I was a big Metallica Fan, but After And Justice for all, when they became MetalliCASH i quit on them, the black Album is "decent" and the rest after that is all crak imo,,,

Still they are good in show, and better if they play Old songs :)

I saw them like 10 times and i hope i will see again...

I was at Montreal Canadian game yesterday and they 5 like Metallica songs... i was impress to hear Blackened over there :)
