I use Vegas. |
I couldn't name them off hand, but if cost is an issue there are a few Linux open source options that are more than capable.
|
It depends how involved you want it. If you just need to edit basic clips to sell or to put on clips4sale get Pinnacle. I've been using it since 2004.

Just wanted to enhance the quality of the video some of the video doesn't look good. In the review in the internet I might buy Vegas Pro it seems one of the best I have seen so far.
|
We been using Adobe Premiere for years. Good features and nice interface.

Windows movie maker?

Sony Vegas has an edition called Movie Studio or something that is less features and much less cost.
Also, Adobe has Creative Cloud that allows you to rent software like Premier for a month at a time for $29.95 |

Sony vegas and what I like about Vegas is you can make it as easy or complex as you want.
|
I use Corel Videostudio Pro to edit together clips and do basic transitions. It works great for making trailers, tube videos ect and is a very fair price.

Does anyone know of a video editing software where I can queue a bunch of videos and have the software run all day trimming predetermined lengths and adding watermarks?

Not sure if you're open to this happening online as opposed to on a PC/Mac locally or what your budget is but the Elevated X pay site CMS software has features for cutting videos into clips of any length, watermarking, converting to multiple formats, resizing and also taking screenshots automatically. You can upload movies and the CMS will add them to a queue and process them automatically. We also just announced a new video editing feature that lets you upload a video, watch it in your browser and set in/out points and create a finished trailer complete with fade-in transitions and add an optional video at the start or end of the movie. The CMS will add the resulting trailer to your pay site tour automatically or if you're just using the system for encoding you can download the finished files and use them however you like. More info is here: http://www.elevatedx.com/transcoder.php Check out our product demo for samples of the trailer videos: http://www.elevatedx.com/demo.php Feel free to email or call me with questions. Here's a freebie someone recommended on Reddit's r/filmmakers recently:

Vegas Movie Studio is very easy, quality and stable.. and costs only $50! You wont get anything better for this price. It does everything I need.

Sony vegas 11. Try to stay away from v12. To many crashes.
|
I use AVS video editor and converter.
