I'll def. get them and judging from the feedback I got to my questions re: Project Glass at the Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention during the lectures / Q&A - porn people are mostly clueless what an evolution the real POV perspective of Google Glass could make to content - also considering that Project Glass will most likely have the LTE chipset, imagine what this could do to livecam couples with people being able to virtually slip into the POV of either part of the stream.

I think the $1500 price point is only for the beta testers that Google is letting have an early set... and they have to go pick them up in San Francisco and attend a training meeting on them.

I really want a set for some of the non-porn stuff that I do.

Is google glass can be communicate as well? LOL

Will Google fan boys (do they exist?) sleep out for them?

Really though, at that price point (even if only for beta testers) it's promising to become affordable for Joe Q Public once it goes full-on.

I still can't help but feel it could be a bad thing to have in this day in age. Look what smartphones, laptops and etc have done to dummify humanity as is, it could only get worse. I can picture it now, someone's glasses go kaput and they can't even navigate their way to school, their way to a new coffee shop around the corner or even able to find their friend in a park. Well.. I guess we are all a hand-holding society as it is.. might as well let a wearable tech do it for us.. I suppose.
