anyone else get a patent infringement claim from Lodsys group for running a paysite?
 

just got an email from an attorney working on behalf of some firm named lodsys. they sent this detailed dossier explaining how my running a paysite infringes on their patents. They want me to sign a settlement & licensing agreement, & of course, send them money.

Any other programs get sent this?

Gotta hand it to the guy that submitted the patent.

Everybody was already doing this stuff. He just took the concept and put it on paper as a patent. Instant cha-ching!
