How important is pinging?
 

How important is it to ping your blogs? I just use the default in wordpress. Is it possible to get more traffic using other pinging services? If so... Which should be used?

Ping Google and they will list you instantly.

Ain't gonna make a hill of beans difference... The crawlers will find you either way, won't hurt to add services to ping lint, won't hurt if you don't. The wp default is just fine...
