I'd trade her straight up for betamax. ;)
Curious as to what titles she had. Probably a bunch of shitty comps |
do people still watch VHS tapes? lol
|
I seem to remember that AEBN got it's start that way... I think Scott used to sell Vivid or something... maybe not door to door.

I hear you can fit quite a lot of those bytes on a tape with the SLP mode setting.
|
How serious is punishment for earning a few bucks without having a permit to solicit sales in the USA?

She should have copied them to a digital format, put them on a website, and put ads around them. She wouldn't get in trouble that way.
|
I don't see a problem. If bible thumpers can go door to door selling their imaginary story, why can't some old haggardly woman sell some porn, so long as she is selling it to adults?
I'd rather have her knock on my door than a Mormon. |

She was charged for not having a permit to sell anything; regardless of what it was. |

|
sign her up as an affiliate... if you had more sales people like those poeple might stop bitching...
|
America has gone completely crazy when you need a PERMIT to sell something.
Utterly insane. :( So So sad.... . |
I sold some porn DVDs to some men that worked in my uncle's shop, I could see steam coming off their heads raging and utterly ready to jerk off to them.
Tried selling some DVDs on craigslist, got flagged and thought it probably wasn't a good idea anyway. :upsidedow |

Yeah its a dumb law needing a permit to sell shit, although I kind of understand in some situations where consumables are being sold, but still, I remember seeing neighborhood kids with lemonade stands on the street in summertime... Its been a long time since I saw that.
There was a story a year or two back where some kids got citations for selling lemonade for like $1 a glass for charity because they didn't have a permit... Stupidity knows no bounds. |

Green River
It?s commonly known as the Green River Ordinance as Green River Wyoming passed a law in 1931 (Republican President Hoover) banning any door-to-door sales. The Supreme Court threw out the law.
But was changed to require peddlers to register with a town clerk or chief of police. Even today, you can find small, rural towns with the city limit sign and the sign underneath proclaiming ?Green River Ordinance Enforced.? It?s mostly to let wandering scam artists know that their house repairs and other scams usually directed at the elderly will get them jail time. Also gives a level playing field for local merchants who have to buy a city license. |
Gotta hustle man
