US stepping things up ? Nuclear-capable B-2 bombers over South Korea
 

"SEOUL, South Korea (AP) ? In a show of force following weeks of North Korean bluster, the U.S. on Thursday took the unprecedented step of announcing that two of its nuclear-capable B-2 bombers dropped munitions on a South Korean island as part of joint military drills."

"The announcement is likely to further enrage Pyongyang, which has already issued a flood of ominous statements to highlight displeasure over the drills and U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test last month. But there were signs Thursday that it is willing to go only so far."

China is tired of North Korea's act, US military action doesn't mean 'start a war with China'. China has too much to lose, they're not going to risk what they have by defending the actions of their idiotic 'friend'. Kim has basically been saying 'fuck you' to China as well.

Why bother. The status quo has been in place for exactly sixty years now. Why change it? The US has keep tens of thousands of troops in South Korea, costing us billions of dollars.

China is walking away from North Korea.

China supporting NK in a conventional war is one thing, but a nuclear war in China's back yard is unacceptable to China for the most obvious reasons. North Korea seems to think the status quo has changed because they have a nuke, when the truth is it's hurt NK... Because of fears of nuclear war in their back yard, China will no longer support NK.
