Law Enforcement & Government Deserve Some Credit

1 dead, 1 captured in less than a week.

These weren't brilliant masterminds... but law enforcement does deserve credit for getting this done so quickly... and at least our federal government didn't suddenly decide to attack Puerto Rico or Ireland out of a sense of misplaced retribution like last time. :2 cents:

Amen. :2 cents:

no fucking shit. whew.

after watching southern california go on a chris dorner rampage, i was figuring this was going to end the same, especially with all the different agencies working on it at the same time.

the system is working so far on this.

Yea, you have to admit they did pretty good job getting this sorted out fairly quickly and unlike in LA they didn't go around shooting ever other dude with puffy hair.

Granted it was really just a lucky tip by the guy whom owned the boat they found him in, but still the fact they took him alive, shows they are much more professional that the LA cops.

Right. That dude was a cop killer. It would have been no surprise if they "had no choice" but to blow him away. But they put their emotions aside, and did the job that needed to be done.

You wouldn't be posting your stupid bullshit here and jerking off to Alex Jones videos. So there's that...

Also, in many countries you'd be jailed for the shit you post. Why not go to one of them you conspiracy lemming?

I agree. These guys swept in & did their job like professionals. Seamless cooperation between local, state, & federal. They worked out the past glitches for sure & it was good to see everyone at the end, law enforcement & the people as one team that achieved the task at hand.

A lot of people here have this "fuck the cops" attitude. When you older, you see things differently. I never really feared the cops but I was always afraid of getting in trouble for something; I wish the cops would hang out in my front year to if only to deter any potential criminals.

Kudos to the cops and FBI for all of their work.

TheFootMan5 04-20-2013 02:48 PM

The cops didnt even find him...some guy with a boat called them

Indeed, whats sad is that in a lot of states are underpaid

What's with all the police and government sympathizers on this forum? :helpme

Only took about 100k cops , i wonder how much that cost? if they would of just put a bounty out on em they would of had him, im glad he was taken alive tho i think his brother played a big part in corrupting him and would love to see him live his life in prison for the rest of his life to figure himself out.

Part of quality police work is properly engaging the public to obtain information. It's something the Boston Police did very well throughout the campaign, and it has been sorely missing in past police actions - especially in California of late. Getting the public off the streets, involved in the search and acting on useful intelligence while screening out thousands of false leads is a big part of what they deserve praise for in this instance.

Pay scale has nothing to do with the danger they face or the job the do unfortunately. There are cops in areas like where I live who are never in any significant danger and make a living writing traffic tickets or breaking up keg parties - while making 3 or 4 times what a cop on the street in a desolate urban sprawl is making.

TheFootMan5 04-20-2013 03:43 PM

Bunch of pigs looking to take the rights of everyone for a measly little salary...and they don't even realize they ARE us...and slaves too

That whole thing in boston was just absurd for one fricken 19 year old
