Subdomains Vs. Subdirectories

Which should I go with? Does it really matter? The new changes in wp make subdirectories the easy choice as setting up a subdomain is a little more work than it was before.

Use subdomains - they're very easy to setup in Wordpress...there's plenty of tutorials on it and it takes like 1 minute to setup.

For SEO

Subdomain: starts from scratch, no authority
Subdirectory: inherits domain authority

A sub domain is a different site from the parent site. A sub directory is part of the parent site just deeper into the site hierarchy. I would take the time to create sub domains if I were you.
