Dominican Republic is ghetto!
 

Just stopped by for a long weekend trip in Santo Domingo, that place is damn ghetto! Chicks even still use flip phone! Few wannabe **** hotels, nice ppl in general and safe.

I hangout a bit in town, everything is dead after 1 am, chicks even after 6 months on a boat won't hit any of those.

Am I missing anything there? It will be probably my last trip here, better getting back down to south America.

Touristic areas are limited to 1 or 2 places, but pretty safe here.

it's not bad but most chicks are fat like sea elephants, no tourists infrastructures, everything close at 1am, except 2 places, no beaches around.Once you walk 1 streets from hotels or casino its ghetto, safe but ghetto.

Friends of mine went there a few years back - They stayed in some resort and where given armed guards if they went out of the complex - No thanks.....

I didn't feel any violence but most guards have shot guns give you and idea of the "what if"

How much are the girls there? Wanted to go.

Street price 50$, casino mixed nigga-lizard ask 250$ and go for 100$ Both over prices. I got a dozen for that price in asia.

Been to DR once in 2007.....never again unless I get a licence to kill....I had told myself I would never go there....and I did!

I've traveled a fair amount and the DR is one of the biggest shit holes I ever made the mistake of going to. :2 cents:

It's awesome compared to the other side of the island (Haiti).

Went a few years ago and the resort we stayed in was fantastic.

But yeah, a few mins on the bus and i saw some pretty scary sights. We did have a great 2 weeks though. I would go back...

Resorts and beaches are nice, outside that really ghetto. I won't even mention girls, the closest human mutation to sea whales.

btw you made mistake going to Santo domingo, that city is really shithole...crowded, polluted, noisy without space for people...there is one rule for this country - stay away from SD and bigger citites
