Probably make it easier to produce with 12 episodes. They won't have to worry about "real-time" any more. I'm reading a book right now about the best shows of the last 10 years and there's a chapter on 24. It said the creators practically made it up as they went because the schedule was so hectic -- that's how the Kim/Cougar thing happened.

The Revolution was Televised -- great book if you like TV.

First 3-4 seasons are good, but after that it's total bullshit.

That is kind of how I felt.

I really liked the first few season, but then they got old and were the same thing over and over again.

You start thinking Jack is a dumbshit because he constantly gets screwed over, yet is always willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

that's kinda how it is with most shows, I can't think of any shows that continued to be great after a couple of seasons...

To me Breaking Bad is just as good now as it was when it started. I also think The Office is still good and Big Bang Theory it still funny, but most shows do start to get bad after a few seasons.

It is very hard too keep up that energy that you have the first few season. I think most shows that get made don't expect to be around for very long (since most shows end up canceled in their first few seasons) so when they end up being hits and lasting for several season they find themselves scrambling for story ideas.

How the hell is it going to be 24 if it's only 12 hours long? If it's 2 hour episodes that is sick but if it is the normal 1 hour episodes then yeah it's kinda stupid. I love 24, for all of you saying the later seasons weren't as good, I dont agree, all of it was excellent.

Touched was a pretty cool show I thought, the story was drawn out WAY to much, so guess it's time to put that to bed.
