Nearly every paysites front page as an enter or exit button yes? And, 9 times out of 10, the exit leads to google.com ? :helpme

WHY? All you need to do, is SEND THE EXIT TRAFFIC SOMEWHERE ELSE !

Sending it back to google GUARANTEES you WONT make a single penny.

Sending it to another site - Via Ref-link - or to a special offer page - or even a page which you create with mainstream offers etc - At least that gives you a chance to make another sale!!!

I know - Back in 2002, I used to do it myself. I wanted to make sure that google 'knew' about me... But that was 2002. In 2013, google knows when you take a shit! Without even having analytics on your site, which most serious people will have anyway...

I actually contacted google back in 2002, and politely asked them, that as I had a direct hardlink to them on my site, would they do the same in return, and put one up for me, on the front page of google?

I never did receive a reply though... :(

The chances of a horny teen, surfing for porn, and then feeling a pang of guilt at saying they are old enough, and clicking exit, is imho, less than zero... Plus they wont have a credit card anyway...

So if the exit button contains a ref link to a site thats focus, is on cheerleaders having sex IN uniforms, and keeping them on - A sale *may* be made...

Likewise, the site is interracial - Blacks on Blonds etc... Why not place the exit button to lead to a site that focuses on black girls, fucking white guys?

Obviously thats just an example, but at least theres a CHANCE of a sale - Send to google and there is ZERO chance. :2 cents:

Yup, we've been doing that for a few years on some of our sites and we get a regular flow of sales to a couple of mainstream affiliate programs we are using.

fwiw - my reckoning is that the less options the better, to avoid the 'paradox of choice'. No exit links, ever, and as few choices as possible, especially when it comes to affiliate sites.

You are thinking about a site that gets 100 visitors a day - I can understand that...

But what about a site that gets 10,000 plus a day? Thats 366000 a year... Lets say 1% of all the traffic hit the exit? Thats 36500...

Considering that it only takes you about five fucking seconds, to change your exit link from google to a ref link - Whats the problem with sending 36500 clicks to a sponsor, instead of wasting them on google?

Good luck making minimum payout with that kind of traffic and volume. What do you achieve by that? Giving someone else free traffic.

If you don't believe me, try looking on some real stats, and see how few click the exit link.

I have seen loads of people sending them to Disney. You need to watch out with sending porn traffic to mainstream sites though, not every company is going to be happy when they find out.

If you run an affiliate program and do this the first thing that gonna append is that someone (an affiliate) gonna accuse you of stealing their traffic on gfy lol

You posted some good, simple advice. Alot of websites don't bother to do this (us included) but it's a good idea that takes only minutes to do. Don't bother arguing with anyone who doesn't get it or challenges the idea.
