If you are going to live in one of the most dynamic cities in the world then don't expect things to not happen there. The city - like many cities of its status - has had its fair share of tragedy. I am sure you lived there during IRA phases too. So, it is a case of what sort of place you want to live in. An exciting and wonderful city where a ton of stuff happens which means some of it will be bad or back to a place like Hull where floods are probably the worst you have to worry about but you live in Hull.

problem is, people are hurting bad over the current economic state, and *need* someone to blame. Beyond the obvious horror of the story, I worry more that it took twenty minutes for an armed unit to get there in a location that is not only right at a giant military barracks (like it takes up half the town) and close to Belmarsh, which is one of the highest security prisons in the UK and where IRA and other terror related prisoners are usually kept.
