So Sergio Garcia "had to say sorry" to Tiger Woods for his "I'd buy him fried chicken" Or whatever it was he said. Then I see this KFC advert with basically all "black" people or whatever the term is these days, and a white guy's head thrown into the crowd.
Then while trying to find the advert on youtube, which ironically was where it was played as a pre-roll, I find this one: So KFC is basically only using black people in its ads these days? But it's not ok to say to someone; "We could get some fried chicken" What if he would have said something like; "I'd invite him over for a Paella", would that have been ok? Just wondering :) Seems like it's ok to advertise in a racist manner, but you can't invite someone to for a fried chicken dinner. |
Its fuzzy zoeller take 2 media hype. Controversy brings eyes.

As long as it doesn't say Black Dad Ate The Bones then it's cool.

Marketing in general is racist. Look at what is pitched during sporting events or a certain movie or tv show. American idol type shows are especially obvious.
Probably the main backlash came from Tiger's sponsors for whom he is an earner. |
