Tour/sales pages - single page with scrolling or multiple pages?
Just want to get some informal opinions on tour & sales page design these days.
Once upon a time it was (arguably) considered better to keep the tour content 'above the fold', and invite the surfer to click on a "See More" or "Continue Tour" or whatever button rather than have them scroll down. Now however with many surfers using tablet touchscreens where it's far more natural to swipe & scroll, is it better to now keep your tour content to one page? It does seem design has gone more vertical in mainstream also, for example in FB or Tumblr where scrolling down is pretty much the primary mechanism for interaction/consumption of content. I'm aware that there are newer (and maybe more effective in some ways) alternatives to the old-school paysite tour, but that's specifically what I'm curious about here. So for those of you that do still use a classic style tour, is it pretty much one page now or still across multiple? |
The less pages the better.

I prefer more pages displaying a transparent members area
Google will like it better, too |
