Anyone else getting forced into Google safe search?
 

It's been going on for 2 days now. Every time I go to Google, even when I'm logged in, it auto sets the Safe Search to on. I undo it but it comes right back every time I go back to Google.

Hoping it's just a glitch. :helpme

Google said that they were going to start making searches safe by default for general terms and you have to be more specific for adult results.

Are you using multiple sign-in?....

I have been having issues with that for a few days as well - I have to log in and out of bloody accounts every 5 mins...

I get it if I have the SEO tool bar active - Its making too many requests and you end up getting captchas when you search.....

if you use a "funny" IP you get the captcha too

I searched for porn and got the usual suspects

Boobs on the other hand I get cracked.com, funnyordie, thesun.co.uk, thechive, metacafe, google plus, vimeo, twitter, etc.

Yes even with safesearch disabled. Did not tried with safesearch medium or full...

It was glitching in a similar fashion earlier this year, prior to the dropping of site previews in Web Search and disabling of Safe mode in Image Search.

Like deja vu in the Matrix, a probable sign of more changes being made.

It's seems okay here in the US. But Google is Google. I really hate the way they are trying to make automatic decisions for me about that which I want to see. I prefer having the old power tools available where I have more control. It's ironic that they do all this bullshit but they still don't have available a real porn filter. The safe search blocks all "adult" content but sometimes I want "adult" content but I do not want "porn". They have no tool at all for that and I often get a bunch of crappy porn tubes on the entire first page. Are you listening Matt Cutts?
