I have been thinking about it - I am still not sure - They have been a driving force behind the proliferation of tubes, but they have allowed some people to at least make some (lots of) money.....

Dating is the only thing that comes close - Where would we be without them - Better or worse off?..

Maybe affiliates and porn producers would have been better off without them. I don't think all the free tubes could have existed without their ad revenue.

Good for the individual that wants to be in porn. Many of these cam girls are able to get into the business and do their thing just by sending in a copy of their id and turning on a cam.

It was logical ...

Sex Cams -- real people and interaction.

Dating is the same -- real people and interaction.

Interaction was good for the people.

In 2000 we had fun on mplayer running a free adult cam chat room there. After a few months of free and fun I realized people would pay for this -- a new career for me was born.

So personally, cams were the best thing that has happened in my life ;0)
