This is one of the rare times I can agree with Bill O'Reilly, this is all about race. If visit happened to a white guy there would never be half the outrage.

Not saying its ok but some of them might have good reasons for not trusting white people, no? For example the black man who did the home invasion on the white lady and her child that was caught on nanny cam. Whites immediately saw it as an attack on a white person, where as black people saw it as crime that could happen to anyone. We dont know what Trayvon went through or witnessed in his life that made him afraid to be followed by a man that looked white.

You say that but how many fights have you been in? In the first world, violence is usually not the first answer unless you like the criminal justice system.

Do you know many black people? Race is a much bigger part of their life then your average white person because it has to be.

Martin was most clearly into drugs and various petty crimes. However, that night all he had on him was skittles. Was he acting suspicious that night? Perhaps. But teenagers don't give much thought to how the community has had dozens of break ins and that his activity might be thought of as suspicious.

At the same time I think Zimmerman was a wannabe police officer. He had applied to be a police officer. Don't give me any bullshit he was taking classes to become an attorney or what not; He was taking classes required to become a police officer. He was also training at a gym martial arts gym - Yet oddly enough gym owner gave us the impression that Zimmerman couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. He was on the neighborhood watch yet so scared of his own shadow that he carried a firearm with him.

But no matter what, Martin didn't need to die. I picture my kid waking home after dark winding through the neighborhood taking short cuts between houses and what not. I mean... I take a short cut between two houses at 10 on a Saturday afternoon on a summer day on my bike I am a local resident riding his bike but if my kid puts on a hoodie at 10pm and walks to her friend's house on that same route she could be shot and killed because someone thought she was suspicious?

1. Martin isn't a gangster or a racist, every black person calls white people crackas.

2. Zimmerman isn't a racist and the evidence doesn't show that. (know the facts, it helps the conversation.) He also isn't a wanna be cop. He is however, a HUGE pussy.

This could have all been avoided with a quick conversation.

Zimmerman: I'm neighborhood watch, what are you doing?

And Zimmerman does the friendly three quick honks of his horn to say goodbye. Happy ending, no one is dead. Trayvon makes his sizuurup and Zimmerman still gets fat.

He more than likely killed him after the big black kid started to get the best of him. up to that point he probably didnt plan to kill him. he should get manslaughter and do like 25 years.

Doesn't the use of the racial slur "cracker" prove that Martin intended to kill Zimmerman? There was much debate over whether or not Zimmerman used the word "coons" when making the 911 call, as if using that word somehow proved violent intent. Why doesn't the same go for Martin?

In this situation (how the term was used between Rachel Jeantel and Trevon), I DO NOT view this as a racial slur, it (to me) is more of a reality slur.

In regards to Zimmerman using the word "c00ns", I listened to the 911 tapes (evidence) and I never heard that. I heard him say "those assholes always get away" and "punks", not racial.

Here's what happened: Trevon approached Zimmerman for following him. Zimmerman started getting worked and Martin saw the gun, once he saw the gun he tried to get it and Zimmerman shot him.

Zimmerman shouldn't have been carrying a gun, even though it's his "right".
