Sounds more like a more reasonable guy than not.

“I just feel bad because I don’t like when race gets out in the media ‘cuz I don’t think the media has a ‘pure heart,’ as I call it,” Barkley continued. “There are very few people who have a pure heart when it comes to race. Racism is wrong in any shape [or] form — there are a lot of black people who are racist, too. I think sometimes when people talk about race, they act like only white people are racist. There are a lot of black people who are racist. And I don’t like when it gets out there in the media because I don’t think the media has clean hands.”

I think he's right. I also think this bit is very true.

This trial really brought out the racists and by that I don't just mean people who supported Zimmerman. I mean people who are obviously racist from deep within their hearts. You can read the posts here and find more than a couple of these people.

Barkley is one of my favorite athletes and not because he was a good basketball player.

Skolnik in for the loss. Mr. Barkley is dead on about the media. While reading the piece LA News is talking about preparing for BASH MOBS later today and this weekend. The reporters behave like they want it to happen so bad.

The whole thing just shows how racist the so call civil rights leaders are. The black community as a whole seemed to want vengeance rather than justice.

The simple fact is, if you understand the criminal legal system with the evidence at hand there was no way he would be found guilty.

The whole additude most blacks have had about this trial makes it very hard not to look at them with disgust and consider a wide swath nothing but ignorant racists.

Quite often Charles says some really dumb shit when he's on air. But in this interview he spoke quite well and brought up a lot of truths that usually get ignored. Hopefully people get to hear his message.

Yes the pres should keep out of stuff like this. By belittling the court system it just re-enforces the racist mentality with the masses.

Its very simple. Zimmermann was going to be found not guilty in the criminal case. The cops knew it, which is why they didn't want to go to court in the first place.

On the other hand, he will very likely be found guilty in a civil case, as he should be.
