He was in many things. I bet most people know his face, but not the name.

I think Get Shorty may be the one most people know him from.

He was a cop in real like before he came an actor.

Celebrities tend to die like common people ...

Get shorty was the movie I thought about too when I saw who he was :) great movie.

I was only watching Snatch over the weekend (criminal underworld comedy) which he appeared.

Another great movie :thumbsup

I used to watch Crime Story when I was a teenager. Great series.

R.I.P. indeed - even when he played seriously bad guys, he came across as somehow decent or honourable... it had to happen but sometimes it sucks worse than others...

he has been in lots of things.

as i said you know the face, but probably not the name.

he used to be a cop. i suspect becase he was a cop and got into acting, he was not bothered about fame and so unlike many actors was not bothered about seeking atention and so his name is probably not that well known.

but he is cool and rather witty in all the things i have seen him in.
