There is a reason the biggest cam sites does not pay for cam model referrals.
Unlike how it was let's say in 2005-2007, when finding cam girls it was not easy... lately there are more cam girls than pay customers, in most sites. This is not because less customers, really. It is because more girls; someone may remember when 400 online was many, now you can reach 2000 in top sites. In some cities of Romania (not Bucharest), the 30% of the female inhabitants been in cam at some point of their life. And the other 70% have a gf who been in cam at some time.
In detail this is wannabe cam girls, registering every day in many sites at once (alone or via studio), then quitting all the sites (and the cams job) in matter of weeks. If you check the bigger sites, you see that except those few regular models that you see in first page, there's so many others who try, be online weeks, then gone forever, as not made the easy money they hoped. Big turnover really. This is even boring for cam site administrators which have to validate ID's and accounts of so many girls for just see them online a few days. Recently some bigger sites further automated the registration process so requiring thess administrator work, or they was a week late always due to the too many registrations to check by hand.
With the financial crisis, plus the confidence of younger generations with internet, I think the number of cam girls will increase further.
