There's a couple people in my neighborhood who have never used a bag because it's obviously below them. I've left 2 piles in the 6 years I've had my Lab, but only because I didn't have a bag.
I put a sign up in my park because I got tired of it, because the city sure as fuck wasn't going to do anything about it. It was slightly snarky and was meant to make the offenders feel like small people -- and it mostly worked. I also put 2 wood screws into a tree and used a zip tie to secure a roll of bags. I've replaced it about 10 times since I did that, so at least people are using it. I may have went overboard, but stepping in some dumb motherfucker's dog shit is among the most infuriating things I can think of. |
Grab a shovel, pick the shit up and go to their house and toss it in the driveway....:thumbsup
I did this to a lazy ass a couple of times and he stopped having his dog stop by our front yard. good luck! |
People who don;t pick up after their dogs should not be allowed to walk them in public. Pet Peeve. No pun intended.

Years ago we had this old french woman down the street who's dog always shit on our side lawn. I got fed up and walked a baggie of it down to her house and dumped it all in her mailbox...along with a note that said, "There's more where this came from. Keep your fucking dog off my grass!" Put an end to it. She died the next summer. |

My neighborhood used to be a shitport for all the dogs in this world, cops of course wouldn't give a fuck. One day this guy's pit-bull attacked a kid so kid's dad takes a gun and kills the dog. When the owner started yelling and crying he pointed the gun towards him and asked him if he wanted to end the same way.
And from that day on there were no dogs in my street. The story is a bit creepy but sententious. |
feed the dog a ton of food so he shits up a storm in their house
|
I let my dog put theirs in the hospital.. Issue solved.
|
my grandfather taught me how to wire up his car rims to shoot an electric pulse into a dogs pisser...lol
he always seemed to know when some dog pissed on his tires |
A Lot of liberal crying being done in here, I like the shit in there drive way idea, I prefer to come running out like a med patient.

Law or no law, it's just good manners to pick up after your pet. Many violators in my community are paid dog walkers. A local farmer rides his horses on our paved neighborhood roadways with frequent manure stops along the way. The accumulation of roadway horse manure is stupendous. Wondering what the enforcement is and who is responsible for it?

My neighbours dogs its in my backyard and his Ute is great for storing it all.

My mom has turned the hose on a few dog owners in her day. Needless to say, they never let their dogs shit on her lawn again. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Curb? How about try training your dog. I find most dog owners to be too lazy, ignorant, clueless and stupid to do it though. It's like people expect a dog to just magically 'become' something all on it's own. These people are easily spotted, as they're the ones often yelling at their mutts and wondering why it doesn't listen.
My old dog (passed away in 2007), I used to let him out, he'd head to directly to the back yard, sniff around some, take a whizz here or there, and then within minutes he would go to his spot and take a dump. He knew there would be no 'park time' or walk of any kind until he was empty. Then off we'd go. On the leash he would never pull (trained, by me), and off leash he would come when he was called, and behave well when exploring the park, riverbank, etc. (again, trained, by me) Crossing the street, whether on or off leash, he would stop near the curb and wait for my signal to cross, always. And in over 17 years of his life he never once crapped in a neighbor's yard. In fact my neighbors used to compliment him often to me. He was very quiet too, not barking like an idiot at every passerby or dog in sight. (again, trained) A properly trained dog lives a far better, happier life than an untrained one whose idiot owner just lays on the couch and yells at their dog every five seconds and rarely walks it. And people who refuse to pick up their dog's poo out in public need to be fined. Heavily. People should be able to take a pic of the offense(s) and report the person if they know where the offender lives. A nice fat $200 fine per offense sounds great to me. Doubled or tripled for repeat offenders. |
I feel bad for dogs that live in the city, growing up we'd let our dog run lose in the yard knowing I'd trained it to not go far and we had a big enough yard she'd shit there.
