Coolest Tech Ever!!!

No not very cool. It probably ads weight to the car as the motors and mechanics involved probably have to be heavy duty to move a heavy door and window. The extra mechanics will break meaning higher repair costs. Plus if the door happens to scrape a rock or curb while opening its probably means a $5000 paint job.
Saw this a few years ago and wasn't impressed. |
That's pretty cool, but with all those moving parts, something is guaranteed to break.
I have some stupid features on my BMW, like "soft closing doors" which most now have in 2013, but a few years back, this was pretty rare. Mine, like many others, have problems with the doors CLOSING and staying shut. Last Thursday spent 20+ minutes slamming my door to get it to shut. In this case, that's cool but can only imagine it failing where it won't open or close |
Pretty cool technology but it looks like the video was made about 20 years ago.

If it stops all the damn door dings in my doors from fat asses that don't respect other peoples cars I'm all for it :2 cents:

Where's the video for coolest tech ever? I keep getting some bizzare car door video.

This has been GFY before.
I am a big boy and I can open a door all by myself. I've never been packed in. I drive a Jeep these days, a big Grand Cherokee. The door opens up more than a usual car and when it's fully open I can't reach it from the driver's seat. |
LOL @ cha disappearin door, bro.
