Cops tazer a 12 year old girl.....

Edit title: TASER!!!

This is un-fucking real.

Dejamon Baker suffered wounds to her chest and stomach after police tasered her multiple times while she and her mother were shopping for clothes. Baker’s mother was being arrested for an outstanding warrant related to unpaid traffic tickets. When officers confronted the mother for the arrest, they reported that the woman’s daughter attempted to interfere. That’s when they pulled out the stun gun.

“This one goes in my chest,” the girl explained. “It was stuck in there so she had to keep on pulling trying to pull it out. I had fell on the floor and I couldn’t control myself I just kept on shaking and stuff.”

Some of the comments made by people are jaw dropping... Our world is FULL ON Retard :(

super human powers.. makes sense.

"Initiating potentially lethal violence on children for parking tickets of parents is wrong and you know it. Trying to rationalize that course of action should be embarrassing for you."

Right on!

This, absolutely.

Rochard 09-09-2013 10:06 AM

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

On one hand, I have a thirteen year old daughter and she got hit with a taser gun by a police office we would be hiring an attorney and counting the money all the way to Hawaii.

On the other hand, my thirteen year old daughter is 5'10", is pretty athletic, and combined with my wife they could give a single police officer one hell of a time.

Scott McD 09-09-2013 10:14 AM

Her mom should pay her fines instead of shopping in Victoria's Secret.

Then nobody would get tazed...

bronco67 09-09-2013 10:22 AM

If a grown man can't handle a little girl without a taser, then he shouldn't do a man's job --- and being is cop is definitely that.

Vendzilla 09-09-2013 10:34 AM

In another thread people think it's ok to use tear gas on kids.

Your policemen are real cool. They know how to deal with dangerous 12-year old girls :2 cents:

I have a 13 year old Nephew that is a 2nd degree Black belt.

Sorry to say if the kid gets in the way. well they then have to face the consequences of their action.

I totally agree, if they interfere, then there are reasons to put them down.

They found pyrotechnic CS gas shells in the building. They can start a fire.

Being on a submarine, I can tell you that there are no mops. Because as they dry, they give off fumes. No sponges either. Same reason, because if it's in the air, you're breathing it.

You fire so many CS gas grenades that the FBI asks for more because they are running low into a building full of kids, that's just wrong!

They need to take tazers away from cops. This shit is out of control.

Tom_PM 09-09-2013 12:25 PM

Cruel and unusual punishment. You can't tell me at least one cop wasn't over 250 pounds and could have just sat on her.

Sure, so they can go directly to their gun.

Phoenix 09-09-2013 04:11 PM

To be fair, the cop was just following the new marshal law mandates coming down from the federal government. All civil disobedience shall be dealt with swiftly and surely.

They might have gotten hit with a plastic clothes hanger from Victoria Secret. That could have left a bruise on the cop. He is being paid to pursue dangerous parking ticket infractions not to confront 12 year old ninjas.

AS you can see right here in this thread people are afraid of 12 and 13 year old ninjas. Surely the police officer was in the right to attack this grade school minor upset at her violent criminal mother being arrested for parking ticket infractions.

In fact taking both of them into account i think they might have totaled 80 kgs or more, that is surely a dangerous situation. They are lucky they were not shot on the spot.

"they reported that the woman’s daughter attempted to interfere"

"St. Louis police were unapologetic for the incident."

I wonder what she was doing that the police department didn't feel a need to apologize for their actions. Also wonder what department policy is when a teen acts however she was acting.

What ARE they supposed to do? I know what they would do to me but what's the official policy for handling a young female?

Good point, there should be a policy for everything because common sense isn't working worth a fucking shit.

so in US if youre buying underwear while having some unpaid fines, you might get arrested and tasered?

When a dog "interferes" it doesn't matter if it's a gentle retriever or a world class pitt-bull it gets shot. What's the policy for kids?

Actually, if I was confronted/interfered with by a 12 year old boy or girl it would seem anything I did would be wrong in hindsight.

I had a girlfriend who parked a Suburban that was in my name anywhere she wanted. Disregarded the tickets, hid court notices from me when they arrived in the mail.

Years later when she was long gone I was dragged out of a hotel room in Cincinnati early one morning when a routine check of license plates showed me as having outstanding warrants. When you disregard parking tickets the court finds you in contempt. Contempt of court warrants will get you arrested the same as a more serious warrant.

The tasering you usually have to earn.

One thing is reassuring... The fact that news is giving it attention tells me this is also not normal for the normal average American.

A grown man should be fucking able to fucking control a 12 year old without a fucking weapon... fucking goddamn piriod!

Sly 09-09-2013 05:43 PM

Whether the taser was justified, I have no clue, but it's very clear to me that some of you have never been around a 12-year-old before.

L-Pink 09-09-2013 05:47 PM

The only side I'm taking here is common sense. Cops don't taze people for crying. Come on people, I'm less of a fan of law-enforcement that most but come on.

I've been arrested a couple times and was treated with respect each time. Then again I'm smart enough to know you don't argue with a cop doing his job. Your attorney argues with the court.

In fact … "The girl "physically interceded" in the arrest of her mother, St. Louis county police spokesman Richard Eckhard said."

yeah but the kid mighta been a black belt, and everyone knows there is no way to fight black belts, especially a 12 year old black belt :upsidedow

what it boils down to, and what some of the replies here seem to allude to, is that police work should be as easy as possible. Fuck people's emotions, and especially those of a kid, any slight thing that doesn't make the poor policeman's job as simple as can be should of course be met with a tase. I knew facebook was full of retards so wasn't really that surprised at some of the moronic comments from there, but all kidding aside, I thought this place had a higher degree of brainpower. I really will learn better one of these days.

Black children never had a mammy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mammy_archetype

Quote:

A mammy is a Southern United States archetype for a black woman who, often enslaved, worked for a white family nursing the families children.
Only white children sucked the tit of a "mammy".

No nigga ever did. Please stop telling us about your fucking mammy.

there is no way in hell that this would fly in any country over here - IF something like this would happen, the police officer would be suspended the same day and we would have a 2 week front page discussion about police brutality and the end of the civilized world.

that some people consider it ok to taze a 12 year old girl totally blows my mind

C'mon... you think a 12 year old girl has the same sense as you? And that she should be tased for not having that same sense? Well actually, I know you don't :thumbsup

to add in general: touching anyone in any way, no matter how slight, can be described as 'physical interjection'. If there really was anything in it, you can be damn sure the statement would have said 'assaulted' or 'attacked' or 'struck' or 'hit' - the very fact it doesn't makes it obvious it's BS spin to justify an unjustifiable action.

The kid says she was just "crying" and the cop says she was "physically interfering". But of COURSE we should believe the kid.

This video was ONE version of the story. Wait until it gets reviewed and store witnesses come forward. Then we'll hear the truth...and I'd wager almost anything that the kid wasn't just "crying".

Assuming the kid did "physically interceded" and who knows what that means, I honestly don't know what you are supposed to do.

If you can't ignore the kid do you shake her, push her, bear hug her ??.

Honestly what is the proper way for a grown man to restrain a child?

I hope I'm never put in a position where anything I do, any response I make is incorrect.

I guess I could turn and run from the situation, a cop can't.

totally and utterly brainwashed to bend over for authority. I really can see now why those who are so pro-gun in the USA, are. I didn't get it before, but a lot of it must be because they see this erosion of the line between what is acceptable and what isn't, by those who have the power of arrest & detainment, and the acceptance that by the 'well it's the rules' brigade. It's staggering to say the least.

C'mon man... everyone knows with 100% certainty what is right and wrong, tasering an upset unarmed 12 year old child is probably ok for like 0.000000001% of the world population. You wouldn't do it, no matter how annoying the child was being, and let's face it, that's what this was - a grown man who couldn't restrain his annoyance at a child.
