.la domains any good
 

Seems like every month a new TLD comes out. Any of these new extensions worth buying ? Or just stick to the good old .com ones?

years ago a lot of .com domains would have been worthless, not so much today

Basically it comes down how good the name is , and how bad somebody wants it.

id say it comes down to time and investment.. so, there was a time when a lot of no brainer domains were worthless, and would be for years to come.

not so much anymore.

With that lesson, how is the tld .la gonna be useful in 5-10 years time? you have 'discoverlosangeles' pitching 'My LA'.. so.. etc

As long as search engines default to the .com extension, any other extension is worth tremendously less.... but if that ever changes, it would be a massive shift in value.

The .la extension has been around for many years. We have an aged one, Forums.la.

It can be good but depends on the term. I wouldn't get a 2-word name in .la unless it was something like RealEstate or CreditCards.

Didn't know its been out that long. Been away on other projects and just catching up with whats new and changed.
