Emil 09-14-2013 02:08 AM

I use them.

I do like the registrars that allow fast transfers though. You know the ones that send a confirmation email that once clicked just auto transfer the name with no silly 5 day wait.

Namecheap for all reasons, even if I have a Godaddy account and in 9 years I've never had any problems with them (so far).

shimmy 09-14-2013 07:44 AM

dehash 09-16-2013 09:26 AM

Making a bookmark here. Just extended my domain .com with whois protection...~18$ :(

Kenny B! 09-16-2013 02:30 PM

I used to have everything with Moniker, then Bari left and customer service went down. I would highly recommend enom

Do they do that shit moniker does whereby they auto-renew your privacy about a month before your not-set-to-auto-renew domains are due?

That annoys the fuck outta me with moniker :2 cents:

bns666 09-16-2013 03:45 PM

never had problems with moniker and godaddy, or any other registrar which i used actually...

SilentKnight 09-16-2013 05:25 PM

GoDaddy these days.

Originally used NetSol back in the early days (late 90s).

ErectMedia 09-16-2013 06:56 PM

Use a few but majority 500+ with GoDaddy :2 cents:

24 hours to reply to an ongoing (5 days now) support ticket to push a co.uk domain to another account and moniker just lost all my custom as of today. Thanks for the recommendation Kenny, enom just got a new customer :thumbsup

*edit
oh wow that'll teach me to not assume before checking prices, scrap that :1orglaugh

anyone got any other recommendations? moniker I paid 9.59 per .com + $1 domain privacy. Looking for something close to that price wise.

Denny 10-30-2013 05:12 AM

Namecheap, Namesilo, Name.com, GoDaddy

Jel 10-30-2013 05:19 AM

ok namecheap look good - any horror stories about them?
