Actualy i see it local media covered it as well it was just not under breaking news,was under world news.

Another disciple of Glenn Beck forgetting to take their meds.

What I find amazing is some random drive by gun shooting closes down part of DC yet this same thing happens daily in every city across the nation and CNN doesn't put out a breaking news story. Just reiterates who is and isn't important.

It was a woman and she had a baby in the car with her.. Obviously had she not been shot dead, she might of won mother of the year.

Guess what? Other countries do the same thing when it happens on the doorsteps of their leaders.

You're right though. Some random person in Detroit getting shot up is of zero to me.

I think it's more about what sells in the news.
Kim Kardashian is not important but we'd sure hear about it if she was shot at.

CNN is live with it, saying that a woman pulled up to the White House gate, spoke to a guard, then fled quickly. Police gave chase, she ran stop lights heading towards the Capital, police fired on her. Seems there was a child in the car also.

It was U.S. Navy Yard then its Capitol about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away

They are also saying now that she didn't have a gun but had got into an argument with the police and she tried to flee. The cops say she tried to ram them, and they opened fire as she drove off. She was then chased and that ended with her dead..

I'm sure al shapton will be all over the news the next few days....

Yep, here in the new and improved United States...the police can shoot you dead for running from them.

Now if this had been some random citizen shooting this woman under the same exact circumstances...the media would be screaming about gun control and mourning the tragedy.

What gets me, is when watching the vid, not a single cop shot when she bashed into the cop car and drove off. Then as she drove off you hear gun fire from what shoulda like a single gun. She was then later killed while having no weapon in hand and after she has exited the car and attempted to flee once again.

Ok I can get them saying the car was a weapon and she attempted to ram them.. They could get by on that as a legit shooting, however once she exited the car, that would be the same as dropping a gun and no longer being armed..

Seems cops eat far too many donuts to actually chase someone on foot and tasers are clearly too complex for them to operate. Yet never mind, they will all get paid time off and given clean kills on their records.

On one of the news websites today one of the comments was something like
