Hoster which can handle ddos

Hi I am looking for a hoster which can handle ddos attacks.
I found cloudflare, does anyone have experience with this company.

Or do you know a good alternative ?

thanks

Did you switch IPs after you started using Cloudflare?

cloudflare-nginx

There's nothing you can do against a professional DDoS attack. So save your money...

Michel2000 10-16-2013 01:23 PM

yes i you have a real massive ddos attack, it is hard,

but if you have a little ddos attack, started by some stupid vistor, who is not happy because he is banned from my site, i might have a chance, i hope

at least i m looking for a hoster who has some defense and does not terminate the contract with me, when there is a ddos attack

Lots of companies can handle ddos, keeping your site up, but it will cost you extra money depending on traffic. If ddos is serious, even $10,000's a month overcharges. So you may consider if cheaper to have site down a few days, or pay such.

There are companies that help you just when you are DDOSed - you just switch the dns on their servers. So you can still live on your hosting and save A LOT of money. A good anti DDOS equipment costs from 15K so not all hosting companies have such devices as a backup.

http://www.rivalhost.com/

I moved a high profile, ddos prone client over there and haven't had an issue with ddos again.

What i can offer you is a cloud server with a daily auto backup. when you are under attack we can close the server and spin up a new one with in a min. We can even automate this for you.

dirtymind 10-19-2013 05:55 AM

We do not charge you any extra for the transfer. The daily backup is a few dollar per month depending on you package.
