I'm new to this shit... How do I trade traffic?

So we are launching our first models site this week and the second one is in development now... I am a photographer, not a webmaster. CCBill is being very helpfull in integrating the billing into our system but once we are live.. Next day or two... I have to figure out how to get traffic. Who has some pointers?

OK,, So I am looking at Plgrush's website... Looks like I can buy traffic for around $10.00 per k/hits. Is that a pretty typical number? This is not what people are referring to as the "Affiliate" program right? Sorry.. I am brand new :)
