Eminem - Rap God! My Mind Is Blown....
https://youtube.com/watch?v=S7cQ3b0iqLo
#9 Off of his new album which drops in November. "Why be a king when you can be a god" Listen to this and then give your opinion. My mind is blown. I swear this guy always shocks my ass. This is bonkers if you follow rap. I had to listen to this a few times to understand that after listening to it, you can make the argument he is throwing a subliminal shot at Kendrick Lamar. I was never expecting this craziness. Im more now a eminem fan then ever. This album is going to be a instant classic if you care for rap. |
dre is pulling those strings. all his beats are dre

lol, intro sounds like he entirely ripped it off from Wax Tailor

The verse by verse speed increase is what kept me listening.
This and Berzerk suggests he is going to hit the nostalgia note pretty well for his market. Good call. |

Dr. Seuss on Crack, never been a fan :2 cents:
Only Rap I ever liked is Rakim, Nas, 2Pac, Biggie and a few others... |

The rapping is brilliant but I sort of agree with the Dr Seuss comment. I was a big fan back in the late 90s and I'm glad he's still got the hunger, but it does sound self-indulgent.
Rakim :thumbsup |
i thought i wanted to see 8 mile with my girlfriend but i decided against it, i think i was too tired. nowadays the club music is still mixing with the hip hop and who were known to be hip hop singers or personalities should really be regarded as more black basehunters. i saw the music video, the first one of the first single, with the elderly man with the beard, i mean what in the fuck was that.

His usage of language, inflections and all, is mathematically brilliant. There is enough variation in that song to keep any advanced mind busy. |

He is a top notch rapper and very near a rap god.

|
Rap/hip hop is for stupid people
|
He lost it years ago, he cant even come close to what he use to make, that being said, this is the first song in years he showed real skill, like what Nas said, its DEAD!

The reality is that there are artists (and I use that term loosely) who are simply pawns of the billion $ music industry and push out absolute crap. However, artists like Eminem have the ingenuity and skill to take words and create an auditory experience that is difficult to match in its creativity and variation. |
Em doesn't get old :) time for rap music to get back on tracks LOL
