Best Way To Sell An Adult Domain Name?

At the moment I'm thinking of selling the name...

BoobieMoney.com

I registered it at around the same time as I registered PeckerPass.com, and then I had to choose between the 2 for the name of my program.

I've been sitting on BoobieMoney.com with the idea of setting up a second program, but at this time maybe it would be worth more to just sell it off.

I also own the name, and would entertain the idea of selling..

Boob2ube.com

Any thoughts or strategies?

Are adult domain names still selling?

Does ebay work for this purpose?

Thanks in advance!

ErectMedia 10-20-2013 07:49 AM

Don't think ebay would bring stellar results on any domains unless you fetch your own leads before an auction. Best buyer for that would be found at GFY or any other adult forums where an adult webmaster wants to start a boobie program. :2 cents:

Adult names are selling fine, problem here is those domains aren't any good.

keysync 10-20-2013 07:52 AM

yeah Ebay is worthless in my experience.

I will be honestly honest. Your domains suck.

Sometimes, I wish people would add value to their posts here instead of simply saying they suck. An explanation as to why they suck would be much more helpful.

I don't think they're that bad. Not great, but not horrible either.. I'm sure someone at some point once said Tumblr was a horrible domain.

I don't disagree with that.

I still wish that instead of people coming in and simply saying "such and such sucks", they'd try and educate.

I'd be curious what you think of the domains in my sig? In the "our websites" section.

do you mean "domains" or "website" ??

if you have developed these domains into successful / profitable websites than they are probably worth something based on the monthly profit

otherwise I would not say these names are anything special?

a quick check on other extension tells me those domains are still available at regfee

any domain worth real money is going to be registered across all the major extensions .. .com / .net / .org / .co.uk / dot***

your domains are still available , so most likely they are worthless

I don't disagree with that either.

It's like this IMHO.

Those domains could be good if you put a ton of work into them and get 'em ranked and have a shit pot full of traffic pouring into them on a daily basis.

By themselves as domain names they are not ones that people will type in ever..... = not worth much.

BlackCrayon 10-20-2013 03:36 PM

Tumblr still IS a horrible domain. It has a product behind it that gives it value. If these domains above had a product behind them giving value, then a valuable product would be for sale. As of now, they are mediocre domains with no product behind them. Domains of similar quality can be purchased for $10 at any registrar.

I look at the other way, when someone posts domains for sale that have no clear value, it would be nice for them to explain why they think they have any worth and should be listed for sale. When domains like boobsmoney.com and bustymoney.com are available, why would boobiemoney.com have any value, just let it drop already.

garce 10-21-2013 01:20 AM

I have many much better adult domain names that I just let expire. With traffic and a bit of revenue, even. Most of them were over a decade old...

DirectNic is not having much success in selling them, though. Not worth the effort. If you can't "Brand" your site, good luck selling the domain name. Buy. Try. Expire. Goodbye. Rinse and repeat.

Better chance of you getting a reality show on one of the many thousands of useless cable channels that are out there. Unless you can convince Discovery to finance a show called "Flip My Domain", I think you are shit out of luck.
