WordPress 3.7.1 Update
 

I love updating my sites while sipping coffee and swallowing a stacker at the same time.

Too many fucking updates with Wordpress. Unless it's a huge security hole, I let them go a few micro versions until I do it. It's too big of a pain in the ass.:2 cents:

Use a script. Much faster than going into every dashboard to do the update. You may have to unpack and install certain premium theme updates if required with the WP update.

But it didn't update to 3.7.1 any of my WP's...

the update screwed a few of my plugins.....

Worked fine on mine, is showing as running 3.7.1

3.8 will allow auto updates for everything from what I have read - That will be more than welcome...

There were some annoying bugs in 3.7, glad they've fixed them

I fucking hate Wordpress updates because that means I have to update way to many installs...I need to try out that Infinite WP or whatever but I was dumb and have custom code on a lot of blogs so I have to manually update them or else the code gets overwritten :( should have used child themes.

when it is a security issue its usally to do with someone having an admin account, which you shouldnt be giving away, i do subscribers only so they can only comment, not make posts, and i disable the wp-admin when they login, it just takes them back to the site.

Don't forget to update your plugins as well, if they need it.

i use wp cli, one command and it updates all my sites.

One of my blogs has been updated automatically to WordPress 3.7.1, so it seems that everything is ok with auto updates feature.

There's automated email notification about the update.

I have been using this automatic-updater-plugin for months. It works great and is fully automatic for both Wordpress core and the plugins.
