Nice skills on Van Damme and the truck drivers (such precision driving is incredible, and in reverse is amazing), especially since they said all was real: no studio shots, he was not tied etc.

I saw numerous articles at the time that stated Damme's mouth got him in trouble, Zito got the first 2-3 punches and Damme was on the floor.

They were both drinking in a strip club so I don't think that Vito was sober. But JCVD was totally wasted...so it's pretty much the same thing as what you are describing.

The story told by Mickey Rourke and everyone at the club was that JCVD was going to go outside to fight Vito. But Vito sucker punched him instead and was immediately thrown out of the club.

The story Vito told in his book was that he beat JCVD like a bitch for a full 30 seconds and then stopped and left before security could get there.

The only part that seems 100% accurate is that Vito used to work as a bodyguard for JCVD and they never hit it off. And when Vito came into the club, Van Damme was already fucked up and running off at the mouth.

And unlike the world that some of the keyboard warriors live in on GFY...when you insult someone in real life, there is going to be violence.

Who cares, van damme rocks. I don't think this zito guy has had the money & pussy van damme had and ever will :upsidedow

by the way, grown men in clubs where you have to put on your little outfit whenever you go ride is pretty damn gay.
