Anyone know if this is just scare-mongering?
http://www.avaaz.org/en/cameras_that...s/?rc=fb&pv=41
Seems a bit strange to me that this is 'known' but ignored - from the petition: "The research and media attention won?t be enough. But if we now call on police and child protection authorities to crack down on the webcam predators, we can ensure that people trying this know they may be caught." Which implies that both are turning a blind eye. See this popping up on facebook and can't help wondering if it's just scare-mongering, or what. Thoughts? |
nvm it's one of those start-your-own-petition sites. Some idiot obviously thinks authorities do nothing about this sort of thing.

Avaaz pretend to be grassroots, but there's something sinister behind them.
Not sure of the specifics of this case though :2 cents: |

This guy is onto them :2 cents: :thumbsup "...its ?world-wide community? piper which is calling the tune but in fact a collection of interested parties. Its promotion of the myth of ?servant leadership? whilst willingly collaborating with big money and/or big ideology means that it is engaged in the cynical exploitation of its members for the purpose of political astroturfing. It is not the democratic, principled forum for social activism it claims to be, but a sophisticated and well-greased mechanism for extremist political engineering." http://cifwatch.com/2011/10/19/prese...ing-for-hamas/ |
Have you seen the video of that fake kid? Incredible.
