How long do you wait for "the check is in the mail"
I've been dealing with a adult program that owes me just shy of $2k.. It was my fault at the start, as I forgot to update my payments from epass to check. They eventually issued a check to my old address in May of this year, again my fault as I hadn't updated my info.
I contacted them back in August to see about getting a check reissued and was told it wouldn't be a issue. A couple of weeks and I'm told the check in in the mail. 20-30 days go by, no check I contact them again., typical sorry for the inconvenience, but we didn't send it out then, but it was just sent out a day or two ago. Ok I'm easy going another 20-30 days later no check, I contact them again.. This time, I'm told I must have mis-understood the last 5 or 6 tickets as the check was never mailed, yet now I'm told that they need to figure out how much I was owed because it was confusing for some reason. I tell them, hey you sent the check once, I just need the original one reissued, shouldn't be hard to figure out. I'm told they will deduct a administrative fee and reissue it on Nov 20th.. It's now Dec 1st, the check is coming from Europe I'm in the US.. How long should I wait for the check is in the mail, before I just call them out by name? |

Out them if you don't receive it by December 15th. That is enough time. Do you have any alternative payment options? That would be better than a check from Europe. I would even consider paying the wire fee, even if the amount is small, just to get the situation over with.

Same country- Two weeks
International - 30 days After the first try where they claim the check was sent but later admit it really wasn't sent that is when to stop trusting. Two more weeks tops. Once you continue falling for the excuses you establish yourself as a pushover and you'll be the last person they pay, if they ever pay you at all. |
name the sponsor......

Yep, its a foul practice to push things around.
At our network, when a publisher has a larger outstanding balance we contact them about payment. We also prefer digital payment methods over paper, its much quicker and less of a headache. |
Well, I'll give it two more weeks as that's a fair amount of time, considering its international mail. I really wanted to promote this's sponsor again, because they have a newer program and were always dependable in the past. I've never had to go to the boards before due to something like this.

It usually takes 2 weeks to get checks from US to Europe. Hope you get your hard earned check :thumbsup
