Check out Delmonicos, Smith and Wollensky and Joel Robuchon (at the MGM)

STK or Nobu

If you like meat, you couldnt possibly leave discontent.

Their steak sucks compared to Cut, Maestros and STK or even the 9 steak house.

I've never been to either place but I would love to try Nobu.

I was in an elevator the other day at Caesars Palace and overheard a Nobu employee saying they did about $700,000.00 is sales on Thanksgiving. When I asked if they were serving turkey rolls, he gave me a dirty look. Dude had no sense of humor.

The worst steak I've had in this town was at cut. :2 cents:

I wasn't impressed with 9. To each their own though. The Steer was just such an experience and the food was amazing. I'll definitely be going back.

Fair question! Steakhouses mostly I guess.

I have been to Smith & Wolensky a couple times and would go any time again. Vic & Anthony's in the Golden Nugget is very good too.

A bunch of people went to Carnivino last year and apparently it was amazing.

We have one here in LA - awesome steaks and seafood. Great entertainment too.

People watching is amazing - all the 80 year old men with 20 year old gold diggers.

Agreed. After we found out about the Menu Addons that are not listed it made this stop even better

I just want to go VEGASSSSSS this 2014. But i have to work here..... The Mexican restaurant with happy hour inside the hardRock its great. They give you tons of Nachos for nothings. Order one glass of water and you get 10 kilos of Nachos

Carnivino is on point. Also a new place called Carmine's in the Forum is worth checking out.

The best restaurants aren't going to be the trendy ones on the strip. I want the fucking hole in the wall where the cook has been working there for thirty years and knows what he's doing.

Scarpetta at the Cosmo. Incredible food.

Did an invite-only Nobu tasting last year that was phenomenal at their botique hotel inside of Caesar's. Been to Craft a few times; pricey but excellent.

Also, I assume you've already been to Guy Savoy and Cut, but if not, they're both excellent. If you don't make it this year, I'll treat ya next year. :thumbsup

Did the whole Guy Savoy thing recently. Unbelievable, I did the 9 course meal there. Super pricey but worth every penny

My thoughts as well. Not something I'd want every Saturday night, but I couldn't find fault with a single bite.

For $20 I'll sell your address and they can pick the smoker up when you're not around. :winkwink:

Tons of places here in Vegas.

My preferences are:
Hugo's Cellar at The 4 Queens Casino
Binions Steakhouse on the top floor of Binions Casino
Batista's Hole In The Wall (Italian)
Bob Taylor's Original Ranchhouse

If I go to a big corporate casino on the modern strip...there are tons of places. Most are overpriced, but people pay it...so why shouldn't they charge it. lol
Here's some of my favorites on the modern strip:
Sinatra's at The Encore Casino
Gallagher's Steakhouse at New York New York Casino
Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak Steakhouse at MGM
Rao's Italian at Caesar's Palace
Pretty much every major casino on the modern strip has an excellent restaurant or 2 in them. You can almost throw a rock and hit a 5 star place to eat in every direction.

I prefer the old school places because the service and the food are top notch and the ambiance is ultra-cool.
To me, it makes the places on the "new" strip seem kinda cold with no soul. But that's just me. :)

What does everyone think of Smith & Wolensky? I went a couple years ago and I thought it was excellent.

Pretty good place. Seems to be the "go to" spot for many of the adult industry get togethers. I think there are FAR better places but I never pass on an invite there.

Texas de Brazil and Delmonico's are chain restaurants I can eat at here in WNY.

They're good, but so many other options out there I can't get here.
